 DESCRIPTION
The DP8340 series was Star's first introduction into the
receipt and point of sale printer market. The DP8340 continues to be a
time tested single station receipt printer that continues to maintain a
large share in the market place.
The DP8340 Series products are single station dot matrix printers
designed for heavy duty applications requiring maximum reliability.
Typical applications include restaurant, point of sale, retail, and data
logging. Many customers have found the DP8340's durable design to be
well suited for use in vans, trucks, and any other delivery vehicles.
