The
MagneSafe Mini is a secure MSR offered in a traditional 100mm
footprint. It is specifically designed to meet PCI-DSS requirements
to secure cardholder data via encryption. The MagneSafe Mini is
self-powered from the USB port, and can be connected to any PC or
terminal with a USB interface.
MagneSafe readers utilize a security architecture that combines
MagnePrint ® Card Authentication, Host/Reader Authentication, and
3DES DUKPT Data Encryption into a solution that meets FFIEC and
PCI-DSS recommendations for Strong Multi-factor Authentication
and encryption of cardholder data. MagneSafe readers can be
configured to be 100% interface compatible with traditional MagTek
MSR’s, and allow for advanced security features such as data
encryption, card authentication, and device/host authentication to
be activated when security requirements demand it. |
